Amica Insurance’s Erin Darmetko named to Providence Business News’ ‘40 Under Forty’

08/29/2019 Lincoln, R.I.
Erin Darmetko, an assistant vice president in the digital solutions and innovation department at Amica Insurance, has been named to the Providence Business News’ “40 Under Forty.”
The “40” is a list of young “achievers, innovators and leaders,” according to the Providence Business News, who have experienced notable success in their professional lives.
“I’m very excited,” Darmetko said. “It’s a huge honor to be listed among such talented people.”
Darmetko started at Amica in 2001 as an intern programmer in the corporate information systems department. After receiving a degree in computer science from Providence College in 2002, she officially began her career at Amica as a business systems analyst. She went on to oversee Amica’s customer management application team, followed by leading the integration competency center and product delivery sections.
Darmetko eventually moved on to oversee the project management office before being promoted to assistant vice president in digital solutions and innovation. She received her MBA in 2018, again from Providence College.
Darmetko grew up in Warwick, Rhode Island, and spends her free time with family and cheering on her kids in their many activities. She and her fellow “40 Under Forty” winners were honored with a ceremony and dinner on July 18 at the Aldrich Mansion in Warwick.
