Amica’s Managing Vice President of Sales and Client Services Evan Sherer Named to PBN’s 40 Under Forty list for 2025
Amica is proud to announce that Michael “Evan” Sherer, Managing Vice President of Sales and Client Services Branch Operations at Amica Mutual Insurance, has been named to Providence Business News’ “40 Under Forty,” joining a distinguished group of young professionals recognized for early career success and community dedication.
Born in Taos, New Mexico, Evan earned his bachelor’s degree in economics and foreign affairs from Miami (OH) University. He currently directs Branch and Customer Care Operations for Amica’s Sales and Client Services (SCS) department.
Evan began his career at Amica in June 2009 through the Future Leaders Program within SCS. He has held roles in five different locations, including serving as SCS manager in Chicago. In 2017, he transitioned to the corporate office as a Jurisdictional Officer overseeing Amica’s West region and assumed his current role in February 2022.
In his current position, Evan leads a team of Jurisdictional Officers responsible for branch operations across the country. He has developed training programs that enhance operational effectiveness and staff development, helping to establish industry-leading performance standards. Through collaboration with other divisions, Evan has also played a key role in elevating the customer experience Amica delivers.
Beyond his professional achievements, Evan serves on the board of the Meeting Street School in Providence, Rhode Island. As a member of the Board of Trustees and Executive Committee, he works closely with the school’s leadership on strategic planning, financial oversight, and succession initiatives.

Evan was honored alongside the other “40 Under Forty” recipients in a ceremony on July 17 at Aldrich Mansion in Warwick, Rhode Island.
