Self-service tools to guide and assist you through the claim process

Easily file and update your claim

You can start a claim either on Amica.com, using our mobile app, chatting through the Amica Virtual Assistant, or over the phone.

Document view and uploader

You can conveniently upload photos and documents directly to us using your Amica.com account or our mobile app. You can upload, categorize and add descriptions for up to 10 items at a time. All your information will be kept safe and secure, and your claim handler will be automatically notified of the new uploads.

Non-Amica customers, contractors, auto body shops and other relevant parties are also able to upload photos and documents on Amica.com. They’ll need the claim number and our policyholder’s last name to complete these uploads.

Homeowner Photo Tool

The Homeowner Photo Tool gives you a quick and secure way to provide photos of the damage to your home at the very beginning of the claims process. Being able to share photos of the damage with us at the start of your claim will help us get it in the right hands ASAP, so it’s assessed faster and we can expedite processing your claim.

By using our third-party vendor app, CCC Photo Appraisal, to send us photos of your vehicle’s damage, we can virtually assess the damage and issue payment for your repairs faster.

Stay connected to your claim

Text and email notifications

You can sign up to receive text and email notifications about your claim from your Amica.com account or our mobile app. If you enroll in text notifications, you’ll receive activity updates on all past, current and future claims until you opt out. If you enroll in email notifications, you’ll only receive notifications for that specific claim – each claim must be enrolled individually. Text and email notifications are available for all claims, except glass and tow.

Claims Messenger

Claims Messenger provides easy, online communication between you and your claim handler. You can also filter keywords to search the conversation. If you’d like to communicate with your claim handler through Claims Messenger, you must send the first message. You can also let your claim handler know if this is your preferred method of contact. If so, they’ll primarily communicate with you about your claim through Claims Messenger.

It’s important to know that Claims Messenger is not a live chat or instant message and that replies are not instantaneous. Additionally, sensitive information, such as Social Security numbers, bank account and credit card information, is blocked from being sent through this channel. By signing up for email notifications, you’ll be alerted when there’s a new message to view.

Get paid faster, without the paper

When you receive a claim payment from Amica, you have several options to receive your funds. You can be paid via a bank account, debit card, PayPal or Venmo (paper checks remain an option). Depending on the details of your claim, available payment options may vary.

It’s your choice. If you’d like to receive a digital payment, we’ll need an email address and phone number on file. To update your email address and phone number, log in to Amica.com and navigate to Update Contact on the landing page.
