Mission Statement
Our mission is to harness the power of enduring relationships to help individuals, families and communities become economically independent and strong.
Charitable grants
Amica Companies Foundation supports qualified, federal tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organizations, as defined by the Internal Revenue Service Code. Grants are generally restricted to community-based organizations serving Rhode Island residents.
Funding guidelines
We support programs that align with our mission. These may include:
- Basic needs and community development
- Education
- Health
- Arts and culture
- Community and public affairs
We generally don't fund:
- Capital campaigns
- Building restorations
- Operating expenses
How to apply
Applications are accepted year-round and reviewed quarterly. If you apply after a cutoff date, your proposal will be considered in the next review period.

Please submit your proposal through our online application system.
You'll receive an email when a decision has been made. To help us review applications fairly, we ask organizations to submit only one application per year.
