On June 25, 2020, Amica announced the Amica COVID-19 Auto Refund Program,* which will refund customers up to 10% of their monthly auto premium over a period of four months.
While most auto customers will receive refunds in July for June premiums, our New York customers will receive refunds as follows:
If your auto policy was written prior to July 1, 2020, refunds will begin being issued in August, based on July premium. Additional refunds will be issued in September, October and November, based on premiums from August, September and October, respectively.
If your auto policy was written on or after July 1, 2020, and before Jan. 1, 2021, you’re eligible to receive four months of the refund. The refunds will be issued on the first of the month following the month in which the policy is effective or processed, whichever is later.
