If you’re experiencing financial hardship due to COVID-19, you have the option of requesting a 90-day penalty-free grace period. Please contact us if you’re interested in this grace period. You may elect for it to begin on April 1, 2020 or May 1, 2020. During the 90-day grace period your policy won’t be canceled for unpaid premiums or be charged late fees. Any late payments during this time won’t be considered in any future premium calculations. Additionally, you may be eligible for a repayment plan of up to 12-months for premiums not paid during this grace period.
Please know that you’ll continue to receive bills and notices, and will still be responsible for paying the premium owed on your policy after the grace period ends. If you find it challenging to pay your premiums during this period of time, please give us a call at 800-242-6422. We’ll work with you and explore options.
