Special Refund Notice for California Auto Policyholders

On June 25, 2020, Amica announced the Amica COVID-19 Auto Refund Program, which will refund customers up to 10% of their monthly auto premium over a period of four months.

While most auto customers will receive refunds in July for June premiums, our California customers will receive refunds as follows:

If your policy was written before May 1, 2020, you will receive refunds for May and June premiums in July. This is because our COVID-19 Auto Premium Relief Program in California ran one month earlier to comply with state guidelines.

If your auto policy was written in the month of May 2020, you will receive a prorated refund for May premiums as well as a refund for June premiums in July.

If your auto policy was written on or after June 1, 2020 and before Jan. 1, 2021, you’re eligible to receive four months of the refund. The refunds will be issued on the first of the month following the month in which the policy is effective or processed, whichever is later.

It should be noted that you must remain insured with Amica at the time of payment to receive the refunds.
