LINCOLN, R.I. – Amica Insurance is now the presenting sponsor of the Tame the Tigers golf tournament. The annual charity event raises money for pediatric patient activities at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s Jimmy Fund Clinic in Boston.

The 8th annual Tame the Tigers will be held on Monday, May 11, at The International Golf Club in Bolton, Massachusetts. To register for the event, which includes golf, cart, breakfast, barbecue lunch, dinner buffet and goodie bag, click here. (Additional donations can also be made by clicking the link.)

“We’ve been working with Dana-Farber and the Jimmy Fund for several years, and it’s an honor to become the presenting sponsor of Tame the Tigers,” said Patti Genovese, sponsorship coordinator at Amica. “The money raised from events like this one will help provide pediatric patients with experiences they’ll remember forever.”

Last year’s proceeds of $118,000 helped send 45 pediatric Dana-Farber patients to Red Sox spring training in March. Since Tame the Tigers began in 2008, it has raised more than $550,000 for the Jimmy Fund Clinic.
