Amica Insurance announces promotions

LINCOLN, R.I. – Amica Mutual Insurance Company and Amica Life Insurance Company are pleased to announce the following four promotions:

William Fitzgerald vice president in the sales and client services department

William Fitzgerald was promoted to vice president in the sales and client services department. 

In his new role, Fitzgerald will be responsible for sales operations. Over the last 10 years, he has served as a jurisdictional officer and national sales director. Fitzgerald has held several sales and management positions throughout his 23-year career with Amica. 

Fitzgerald received his Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation in 2013, and he also serves on the board of directors for the Rhode Island Free Clinic.

Fitzgerald earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of South Florida.

Gerald Flynn Jr. assistant vice president in the sales and client services department

Gerald Flynn Jr. was promoted to assistant vice president in the sales and client services department. 

Flynn began working at Amica in 1996 in the marketing department, and he was named a sales and client services officer in 2013. He received his Charted Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation in 2010.

Flynn earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Rhode Island College.

Brian Lemek assistant vice president in Amica Life

Brian Lemek was promoted to assistant vice president in Amica Life.

Lemek joined Amica Life in 2014. Previously, he held actuarial positions at Lincoln Financial Group and The Phoenix Companies. In his new role, Lemek will be responsible for actuarial and financial functions, including product development for Amica Life.

Lemek received a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Virginia Tech.

Woodrow Crouch assistant vice president in Amica Life

Woodrow Crouch was promoted to assistant vice president in Amica Life.

Crouch joined Amica Life in 2015 as a managing actuary. Prior to joining Amica Life, he amassed 19 years of actuarial experience working for Boston Mutual Life, John Hancock and New York Life. 

Crouch has earned both the Fellowship in the Society of Actuaries (FSA) and the Membership in the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA) designations.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and economics from Connecticut College.
