Learn About Auto Discounts

We have always offered several discount programs to encourage good habits and reward loyal policyholders. Some of these programs may already be working for you, but please note that not all discounts are available in all states.

• Multi-Line Discounts. Most states have programs in place that provide a discount when you insure both your auto and home with Amica. An additional discount may be available to you if you have a qualifying Amica Life insurance policy.
• Multi-Car. Lower rates apply when you own and insure two or more autos with us.
• Accident Prevention / Defensive Driver Classes. In many states, discounts are offered for drivers who successfully complete classes designed to help make them better drivers. In some states these discounts are limited to mature drivers.
• Good student discounts. In the majority of states, Amica offers a discount for good student drivers.
• Anti-Theft Devices. Other Than Collision rates are reduced if your vehicle is equipped with a built-in anti-theft device.
• Vehicle Recovery System. If your vehicle is equipped with an operational anti-theft and recovery device, you may qualify for a discount on your Other Than Collision rate.
• Vehicle Tracking System. Other Than Collision rates are reduced if your auto is equipped with a global positioning system (GPS) tracking device which will locate an auto automatically upon notification that the auto is stolen.
• Airbags. Medical Payments or Personal Injury Protection premiums are reduced if your auto is equipped with a factory installed air bag.
• Anti-Lock Brakes. A discount is available if your auto is equipped with a factory installed two or four wheel anti-lock braking system.
• Student Away at School. If your child is a full-time student at a school or college over 100 road miles away without a vehicle, you may qualify for a lower rate.
