Amica Insurance to Open National Sales Center in Nevada

HENDERSON, Nev. – Amica Mutual Insurance Co. will open its newest national sales center on Dec. 14 in the Green Valley Corporate Center. The office will employ a staff of 10 employees, with expectations to expand to more than 70 employees by 2011.

"We believe Henderson is the perfect location for our corporate expansion," said Katie Knight, sales center manager, who recently moved to Henderson and has been with Amica Insurance since 2005. "Henderson is recognized for its high quality of life. It's a great place for employees to live and work."

Amica Insurance, with headquarters in Lincoln, R.I., chose to base its second national sales center in Henderson after a comprehensive site search of the western United States. Employees in the Henderson office, known as Amica's National Sales Center - West, will perform service and sales support for Amica customers across the country.

"We're excited to open our new office in Henderson. It gives us a chance to offer more support to our branches across the country and to deliver Amica's nationally recognized customer service to every new customer," said Jim Bussiere, senior vice president in sales and client services.
