COMCAST SPORTSNET, AMICA AND CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL BOSTON TEAM UP TO LAUNCH AMICA GAME BALL PROGRAM




During Each Telecast, Amica to Donate $500 to Children's Hospital and an Autographed Tommy Heinsohn Basketball to a Patient


BURLINGTON, Mass. – Children's Hospital Boston is a renowned hospital that provides world-class treatment to children from around the region and the world. Comcast SportsNet's Tommy Heinsohn, Amica Insurance and Children's Hospital Boston are proud to announce that they are teaming up to honor some of the Celtics' youngest fans who are undergoing care the hospital.

For every one of Comcast SportsNet's 70 Boston Celtics telecasts, Amica will donate an official NBA basketball autographed by Tommy Heinsohn to one Children's Hospital Boston patient. Amica will also make a $500 donation in the name of that patient to Children's Hospital Boston. Amica Insurance's donation will total $35,000.

Along with the autographed game ball, each child will receive an autographed picture of a Celtics player, along with other fun Celtics items.

"The doctors, nurses and staff at Children's Hospital provide life-saving treatment that is inspiring not only to their patients and family, but to those beyond the hospital. It's because of their efforts that we are honored to work with Children's Hospital," said Robert A. DiMuccio, Amica's chairman, president and chief executive officer.

Heinsohn is a member of the NBA Hall of Fame who won 10 NBA titles as a Boston Celtics player and coach. Heinsohn's number 15 hangs from the rafters at TD Garden and, for the past 29 seasons, he has provided color analysis on Comcast SportsNet.

"The patients at Children's Hospital are fighting a battle much larger than anything the Celtics will face on the court this season. It is my honor to participate in this program and assist in a very small way in the treatment of these children," Heinsohn said.
