Amica Insurance named one of "best places to work" in Rhode Island

LINCOLN, RI – Amica Insurance has again been named one of the "Best Places to Work in Rhode Island" by the Providence Business News.

Amica was one of 35 companies selected from across the state for this annual honor, based on management reports and employee surveys that were reviewed by an independent company.

The winners were broken down into three categories: small (15 to 49 employees); medium (50 to 149 employees) and large (150 or more employees). Amica, with nearly 1,400 employees at its corporate headquarters in Lincoln, was one of 14 "large" companies selected.

Amica was also named one of the Best Places to Work in Rhode Island for 2009, when it ranked second among all large companies. The exact rankings of the 2010 list will be unveiled at an awards dinner to be held June 10.
