LINCOLN, RI – Amica Insurance and its president, Robert DiMuccio, were honored at the J.D. Power and Associates Customer Service Roundtable, in recognition of the fact that Amica has earned the highest customer satisfaction among auto insurers for the past 10 consecutive years.
Amica was cited for setting the standard in the industry by consistently delivering excellence in customer service. DiMuccio, who is also the company's chairman of the board and chief executive officer, was singled out for his leadership in making customer service a top priority from the top down.
DiMuccio, who was presented with a commemorative plaque during the roundtable on Jan. 27, said he accepted the award "on behalf of the nearly 3,200 Amica employees who provide the service to our policyholders which earned this award." He also noted that while the company will "continue to adopt new technologies and products to respond to the market's changing needs, our core values of service and dedication to our customers has remained the same over 100 years."
Amica Mutual Insurance Co. has been ranked "Highest in Customer Satisfaction Among National Auto Insurers" for 10 years in a row. 1 It also has been ranked "Highest in Customer Satisfaction Among National Homeowners Insurers" for the past eight years.2
Amica also has earned high honors as a "Customer Service Champ" in BusinessWeek magazine, which has named Amica as one of the top 25 customer service providers nationwide in all three years of that award.
