Amica Family Fun Nights at Sovereign Bank Family Skating Center in Newport

NEWPORT, R.I. – Enjoy discounted admission fees and free hot cocoa during Amica Family Fun Nights each Thursday during the 2010 skating season at the Sovereign Bank Family Skating Center in downtown Newport.

Admission is just $5 for adults and $3 for children from 5 to 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, and each admission includes a free cup of hot chocolate, courtesy of Amica Insurance.
 
The Sovereign Bank Family Skating Center, located at the Newport Yachting Center on America's Cup Avenue, features a 9,000 square foot skating surface large enough to accommodate up to 150 skaters at a time. Free parking, skate rentals, hot beverages and comfort foods, lighting for night skating, regular admission discounts, a warming room and viewing spaces for the public are also featured at the rink.  Skate sharpening is also available for $5.
