A.M. Best Company rates Amica ‘superior’ once again
LINCOLN, RI – Amica Insurance once again has been rated A++ (Superior) by A.M. Best Company, the nation’s leading authority on the financial stability of insurance companies.
“This rating demonstrates our solid operating performance and ability to assist our policyholders, and it’s especially good news considering our record claims activity in 2011 and 2012,” said Bob DiMuccio, president, chairman and CEO of Amica.
A.M. Best also reaffirmed Amica Life’s A+ (Superior) rating. Both A++ and A+ ratings are listed in A.M. Best’s highest (Superior) category.
"We are very pleased with Amica Life’s performance, which took on new challenges and exceeded its sales goals in 2012,” DiMuccio said.
