Amica Insurance to donate $10,000 to The Jimmy Fund
LINCOLN, RI - Amica Insurance will donate $10,000 to The Jimmy Fund during a check presentation at the 7th Annual Tame the Tigers golf tournament, on Monday, May 12, at The International Golf Club & Resort in Bolton, Mass.
“Amica Insurance is proud to support The Jimmy Fund and its pediatric patient activities,” said Patti Genovese, sponsorship coordinator at Amica. “We’re honored to help in its ongoing fight against cancer.”
Amica is also sponsoring the Amica Insurance Helicopter Drop at the tournament. Numbered golf balls ($25 for one and $50 for three) will be raffled off and dropped from a helicopter approximately 20 feet above a temporary hole. The first ball to land in the hole, or the ball closest to the hole, wins. Attendance is not mandatory to participate in the helicopter drop, and to sign up, click here.
The winner of the helicopter drop will receive a four-person vacation package, donated by Reunion Resort and Spa in Orlando, Fla., with accommodations for four days and three nights. The package also includes a complimentary round of golf and complimentary spa treatments for four people.
