Amica Insurance announces six promotions
LINCOLN, RI - Amica Mutual Insurance Company is pleased to announce the following six promotions:
Dinari DuPont, of Cumberland R.I., was promoted to assistant vice president in the sales and client services department.
Dupont graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business economics from Florida A&M University in 1998, and he began working at Amica as an associate underwriter in 1999.
Kristin (Love) Abdel-Aziz, of Franklin Mass., was promoted to assistant vice president in the claims executive department.
Abdel-Aziz graduated with a bachelor’s degree in advertising and public relations from Pennsylvania State University in 2002. She began working at Amica as an associate adjuster in the claims department and was later promoted to adjuster. Abdel-Aziz then had stops in the Philadelphia Regional Office (adjuster, supervisor) and the Michigan Regional Office (claims manager), before returning to Philadelphia as branch manager in 2009.
Gregory Calderiso, of Warren, R.I., was promoted to information systems officer in the corporate information systems department.
Calderiso, a graduate of Johnson & Wales University, earned his MBA from Bryant University in 2009. He began working at Amica in 2008 as an integration specialist, and he was promoted to business applications assistant manager in 2012.
In his new role, Calderiso will lead the management of Amica’s shared IT services in the corporate information systems department.
Victoria Benson, of Mansfield, Mass., was promoted to investment officer in the investment department.
Benson, a graduate of Sonoma State University, began working for Amica in the Northern California Office in 2004. She transferred to the investment department in 2007 and was promoted to senior investment analyst in 2012.
Benson has earned both the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designations.
Brian Pacheco, of Millville Mass., was promoted to investment officer in the investment department.
Pacheco earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Bryant University in 2003, and he began working at Amica in 2004 as an associate investment analyst. Pacheco attained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2007, and he was promoted to investment analyst in 2008. He was then named a senior investment analyst in 2012.
Jill Rasmussen, of East Greenwich, R.I., was promoted to marketing officer in the marketing department.
Rasmussen earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Virginia, and began working at Amica in 1994 as an associate claims adjuster. She worked in four branch locations before being selected as the business lead for a claims systems project. Rasmussen was then named assistant director of the Internet and mobile experience team in the marketing department.
Rasmussen has earned several professional certifications, including the Associate in Claims (AIC), Associate in Management (AIM), Chartered Insurance Operations Professional (CIOP) and Certified Usability Analyst (CUA) designations.
