In addition to our auto insurance recognition, Amica was awarded “Highest in Customer Satisfaction Among National Homeowner Insurers”1 in the J.D. Power 2014 Home Insurance Study. This is the 13th year in a row that Amica has received an award for customer satisfaction with home insurers.

For the very first time, Amica has been awarded the highest ranking in the J.D. Power 2014 U.S. Auto Claims Satisfaction StudySM. According to J.D. Power, this study offers an analysis of customers’ perceptions of their insurer’s performance throughout the entire claims experience, from first notice of loss through the repair and delivery of their vehicle or settlement of a total loss. J.D. Power contacts thousands of insurance customers each year, asking them to rate their satisfaction with their insurance companies in five key areas: policy offerings, pricing, billing and payment, day-to-day interactions and claims.
This is the seventh time Amica Life has made the life-health list (2006, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013). The Ward Group is a trusted leader of benchmarking and best practices services for the insurance industry, and it analyzes the financial performance of thousands of U.S. insurance companies. Best, a leading insurance rating agency and the nation’s authority on insurance company financial stability, has given the financial strength rating of A++ (Superior) to Amica Mutual Group (Amica). This rating applies to the lead company, Amica Mutual Insurance Company and its affiliates: Amica Lloyd’s of Texas (Sugar Land, TX) and Amica Property & Casualty Insurance Company. Additionally, A.M. Best has given a rating of A+ (Superior) to Amica Life Insurance Company. These A.M. Best ratings reflect Amica’s outstanding capitalization, solid operating performance and market positions.4
